95 points Christy Canterbury, MW (TimAtkin.com): "This comes from 45- to 50-year-old vines not far from Château de la Tour, toward the bottom of the Clos. It starts with a pretty and very Burgundian nose of black currants, damp leaves and savory meat. The youthful, bold tannins are lightly dusty and the acidity is spry. Give this five to six years to settle down. (2023)"

95 points James Suckling: "Beautiful clarity with layers of roses, pink peppercorns, sandalwood and cherry stones, interlaced with hints of chocolate and walnuts. It’s medium-bodied, in line with the vintage, with sleek and tight-grained tannins. Refined Clos Vougeot. Try from 2024. (8/8/23)"

92-94 points Allen Meadows (Burghound): "An unusually perfumed nose reflects notes of red currant, earth and a vague hint of exotic spice. In the same vein as the nose, there is an unusually suave texture to the round and delicious medium-bodied flavors that brim with sappy dry extract that helps to buffer the compact, firm and sneaky long finish. This possesses fine development potential. Drink: 2033+. (Apr 2023)"

91-94 points Jasper Morris, MW (Inside Burgundy): "A pink purple colour of medium density. Correct density on the front of the palate then really quite a brutal tannin at the back. The bouquet is not showing much yet and the palate is a bit grumpy. The Clos Vougeot is going through a surly stage but should deliver in due course. Drink from 2028-2035. (Oct 2022)"

92 points Bruce Sanderson (Wine Spectator): "[$255 list] This red combines elegance with structure, evoking floral, cherry, kirsch and earth flavors. The structure leans toward tannins in the balance, but the length and intensity indicate more to come. Best from 2027 through 2045. 195 cases imported. (5/31/24)"

Bill Nanson (Burgundy Report): "Domaine Louis Jadot. At the bottom of the Clos here. Brighter red-berry complexity. Mouth-filling – here is a more overt structure but also complexity. Clearly a wine for keeping patient with but it has much to offer – I think a potentially excellent wine! The line of finishing flavour is beautiful today. (Mar 2023)"
