95 points Christy Canterbury, MW (TimAtkin.com): "Showing a magnificent nose of crushed pepper and cobbler berry fruits, this is a very structured Clos de Vougeot. Give it four to five years. The excellent density sops up the rich tannins and buoyant acidity. These vine rows run north-south rather than the usual eastwest, just beside the tower. (2023)"

92-94 points Jasper Morris MW (Inside Burgundy): "One third whole bunches. Brian thinks this site is benefitting from global warming as there is a good water supply. Quite a dense purple. The bouquet is notably reduced. A deep full raspberry fruit up front, then quite dry tannins behind. Really backward. Drink from 2028-2040. (Oct 2022)"

91-94 points Allen Meadows (Burghound): "(from a .29 ha holding in Les Dix Journaux and Montiotes Basses; 50% whole clusters). This is also aromatically bright and very fresh with its array of herbal tea, abundance of floral elements and mix of red currant and cherry scents. The utterly delicious medium-bodied flavors flash both muscle and power while the lingering, youthfully austere and sappy finish displays fine depth and persistence. This is a classically style example and should age accordingly. Drink: 2033+. (Apr 2023)"
