95 points Richard Jennings: "Creamy lemon nose; very tasty, tart, lemony palate; medium-plus finish. Disgorged in 2005. (9/17/07)"

94 points Wine News: "Yeasty aromas of citrus, sweet apple, chalk and a freshening herbal essence. Lusciously round flavors of banana, lime, apricot, ginger and chalk show lots of toasty notes. Bread dough softens the finish. (Dec 2006/Jan 2007)"

93 points John Gilman (View From the Cellar): "I had never previously tasted the 1993 Dom Pérignon and was quite delighted to see it waiting at attention to start a very memorable white truffle dinner here in New York in late November. The wine is now drinking very well out of magnum, offering up a lovely and à point nose of apple, orange zest, sourdough bread, lovely minerality and a topnote of overt smokiness. On the palate the wine is crisp, deep and full-bodied, with a good core, elegant mousse, bright acids and fine focus and grip on the long and still youthfully lean finish. Many vintages of Dom Pérignon will often start to become defined by their lovely chardonnay tones with extended bottle age, but my gut feeling that the 1993 vintage is never going to get quite to that opulent side of the Dom Pérignon mature character, as the vintage’s profile seems likely to always keep this lovely wine a bit racier in profile. 2018-2035+. (Nov/Dec 2017)"

93 points Josh Raynolds (International Wine Cellar): "Pale yellow. An enticing blend of red berries, butter and toast on the nose; this settled down to an earthy, smoky character that reminded me of Bâtard-Montrachet. Full and rich, with flavors of musky yellow plum and ripe pear accented by crisp mineral notes. Really long and vibrant on the building finish, if not as precise or elegant as the 1996. Still, of the two vintages, this is the one I would prefer to drink over the next five or years or so. (Nov/Dec 2005)"

93 points Jasper Morris, MW (Inside Burgundy): "Not a classical Champagne vintage, but many felt pressured to release a vintage wine (1990 was a distant memory). A charming, early maturing vintage, a recent bottle still hanging on with gently honeyed Pinot fruit to the fore. Likely still fresh and more complex in magnum; I would drink any bottles you have. (2/25/23)"

93 points Falstaff Guide: "Light greenish yellow, delicate lime peel, nuances of fresh cookie, smoky, pithy on the palate, appears mineral, youthful, shows yellow fruit, very fresh, with good length, a wine full of finesse. (1/2/04)"
