95 points Jeb Dunnuck (Wine Advocate): "The 2013 Pinot Noir Keefer Ranch Vineyard comes from a 20-acre site in the Russian River Valley, acquired by this team two years ago. Harvest between September 20th and October 7th, completely destemmed and aged 16 months in 55% new French oak, it has awesome richness and freshness in its cassis, black raspberry, crushed rock and subtle vanilla bean/sweet oak bouquet. This gives way to a rich, layered, elegant red that has the balance and class to evolve nicely for a decade. (10/29/15)"

95 points and 'Top 12 Pinot Noirs of 2015,' PinotReport: "Medium ruby color; lush aromas of raspberry and blackberry with cola and tea notes; rich and creamy flavors of blackberry and raspberry with silky texture; good structure and balance; long finish. Silky, mouthfilling Pinot with great flavors. This one will get better with some age. 1,385 cases made. (9/15/15)"

Producer notes: "Aromatics: Juicy pomegranate, cranberry, lingonberry, citrus peel and touch of vanilla bean. On the Palate: Ripe, red cherry and raspberry with notes of sassafras. Medium body with a bright acidity and bursting with rich concentrated fl avor. Berries and cream evoke a velvety finish. Barrel aged 16 months in French oak (55% new). Alcohol 14.7%."
