This is even more prominently sauvage in character with its fresh if restrained nose of various dark berries along with plenty of earth and humus influences. Like all of these 2014s, the big-bodied flavors possess a sleek mouth feel and focused power where a more subtle minerality suffuses the impressively long, sappy and beautifully well-balanced finale. Like the Rugiens this is going to require extended patience if you wish to see the '14 Renardes at its peak. Drink: 2029+. (Apr 2017)"
