93+ points John Gilman (View From the Cellar): "The 2007 Renardes, as I reported last year, is starting to really drink very well, like so many other examples of this underrated vintage, and if I were in need of drinking a young bottle of Domaine Michel Gaunoux out of my cellar, this is the vintage I would be opening at the present time. The deep and really lovely nose delivers a fine mélange of cherries, strawberries, blood orange, coffee, sous bois and a nice touch of Corton stoniness as well. On the palate the wine is pure, full-bodied and beautifully transparent, with a classy core of fruit, melting tannins, good acids and lovely focus and grip on the long, complex and beautifully balanced finish. 2015-2040. (Mar/Apr 2015)"
