93 points William Kelley (Wine Advocate): "The 2006 Corton-Renardes Grand Cru was showing even better than it did when I last encountered it just over a year ago, exhibiting aromas of red berries, cassis, dark chocolate, black truffles and smoked meats that are deeper-pitched and more brooding than I remembered them. On the palate, the wine is medium to full-bodied, velvety and layered, with a fleshy and multidimensional core of fruit that's ample and enveloping, framed by refined tannins. Drink: 2020-2040. (Jul 2020)"
93 points Allen Meadows (Burghound): "(from a .63 ha parcel). Here there is enough reduction to render the nose difficult to read but the underlying fruit does appear to be ripe. There is excellent volume to the impressively complex, intense and powerful flavors that enjoy fine mid-palate concentration before terminating in a beautifully well-balanced and mouth coating finish that delivers genuinely outstanding length. This is terrific, though if you're going to try one any time soon, I would strongly advise decanting it first. Drink: 2021+ (Apr 2013)"
