92-95 points Jasper Morris, MW (Inside Burgundy): "Three barrels made from healthy fruit, 100% whole bunches. Not too deep in colour. A delicious rose petal nose, not exaggerated. Indeed, very stylish. Now I can see some coffee notes sometimes found here in Chambolle-Musigny. Very lovely and quite long. Drink from 2030-2037. Tasted: December 2023."

91-93 points William Kelley (Wine Advocate): "Notes of plums, red berries and rose petals introduce the 2022 Chambolle-Musigny 1er Cru Les Gruenchers, a medium to full-bodied, ample and fleshy wine with an ample core of fruit that largely conceals its velvety structuring tannins, concluding with a saline finish. (1/18/24)"

91-93 points Neal Martin (Vinous): "The 2022 Chambolle-Musigny Les Gruenchers 1er Cru is 100% whole bunches and matured entirely in new oak. The wood dominates the aromatics at the moment, rendering it a little generic compared to others. The palate is medium-bodied with succulent, pliant tannins. There is sufficient fruit to soak up the new oak, and the finish is better assimilated than the nose. Therefore, give this 4 - 5 years in a bottle so that the constituent parts can meld together. Drink: 2028-2048. (Jan 2024)"

89-92 points Allen Meadows (Burghound): "Very pungent aromas of generous toasty wood and reduction give way to rich, dense and nicely vibrant flavors though the wood is quite strong on the slightly awkward and vaguely sweet finish. I suspect that this will eventually integrate most, if not necessarily all, of its wood if given enough time. If it does my projected range may be overly conservative. Drink: 2032+. (Jan 2024)"
