Attractive rose petal and ground chalk scents percolate through the red berry fruit on the nose. The palate is medium-bodied with chalky tannins on the entry. Lively and energetic, with impressive energy on the finish, which feels slightly confit in style, and a dab of licorice on the aftertaste. Good length and good potential here. Drink: 2022-2040.
