93 points James Suckling: "A classically structured wine for this appellation with the weight and round generosity that we expect from it, but with plenty of bright citrus and pear fruit, something these wines can lack a bit of. Good depth with an excellent integration of chalky minerality and healthy acidity at the long and delicate finish. With aeration a touch of vanilla bean develops on the nose. Drink or hold. (7/18/22)"
90-92 points Jasper Morris, MW (Inside Burgundy): "Pretty pale lemon. A clean nose with generous fruit, properly Meursault, broadening nicely across the palate, with a generosity of finish and well-balanced oak. Again, the length of flavour is notable, an evident quality in the Drouhin 2020 white wines. (Nov 2021)"
91 points Christy Canterbury, MW (TimAtkin.com) (2023).
90+ points John Gilman (View From the Cellar): "The 2020 Meursault villages bottling from Maison Joseph Drouhin is an excellent example of the vintage. The complex bouquet hops from the glass in a mix of pear, passion fruit, almond, chalky soil tones, citrus zest and vanillin oak. On the palate the wine is deep, full-bodied and drinking very well, with a lovely core, good soil signature, bright, bouncy acids and fine length and grip on the well balanced finish. Good juice. 2023-2035. (Mar/Apr 2023)"
