92-94 points Neal Martin (Vinous): "The 2017 Chambolle-Musigny Derrière La Grange 1er Cru, which contains 20% whole bunches, has a very pure black currant and raspberry preserve bouquet, quite tight at the moment but nicely focused. The palate is medium-bodied with gentle grip on the entry, offering a mélange of red and black fruit mixed with orange peel, clove and bay leaf and leading to a poised, quite persistent finish. Excellent. Drink: 2020-2038. (Jan 2019)"

93 points and 'Outstanding,' Allen Meadows (Burghound): "(from a .25 ha parcel; Amiot-Servelle is one of only two proprietors). An elegant and appealing combination features notes of soft floral influences, essence of red cherry and an interesting citrus element. The relatively concentrated and powerful middle weight plus flavors exude a fine bead of minerality on the lingering and youthfully austere finish that is shaped by grippy and firm tannins that are borderline rustic. This is strikingly long though once again, extended patience is advised. Drink: 2029+. (Jan 2020)"
