94 points Mosel Fine Wines: "The 2021er Berncasteler Doctor Riesling Kabinett has a superbly complex and refined nose of fresh herbs, spearmint, grapefruit, tangerine, cassis, jasmine, spices, and orange blossom. The wine has presence and structure on the palate, yet also shows ample finesse and delicacy. The finish proves superbly long and playful and is mouth-wateringly light and precise. This is a beautiful Kabinett. 2031-2051 (Dec 2022)" 92+ points Stephan Reinhardt (Wine Advocate): "The 2021 Berncasteler Doctor Riesling Kabinett opens with clear, pure, precise and intense fruit that is delicate rather than showing off and intertwined with fine slate aromas. Lush and savory on the palate, this is a crystalline, saline and fruity, pretty long and intense Doctor with an almost dry-tasting finish (and if not now, then in 15 years). The 2021 is too young for early consumption, but it's highly elegant, finessed and very promising for the future. 7.5% stated alcohol. Natural cork. Tasted at the domaine from AP 7 22 in July 2022.
