92-94 points Jasper Morris, MW: "A blend comprising Combottes, En Ergot and Corbeaux, though from 2020 Combottes will be made apart. Medium deep purple, not yet crisp and clear. The bouquet is lovely though, with an optimum degree of ripeness. Quite powerful here and with firm tannins. Two-thirds whole bunches, a mix of whole stalk and the pedicel version. Good length. (Nov 2020)"
92-94 points Neal Martin (Vinous): "The 2019 Gevrey-Chambertin 'Capita' does not disguise the whole-bunch addition, just like the Petite-Chapelle; no surprise, given that it is 100%. There is an intensity on the nose, which presents strong undergrowth aromas, black truffles and a touch of blood orange. The palate is medium-bodied with grippy tannins and good structure, though there I find a little more clarity and transparency on the Petite-Chapelle at the moment. Nevertheless, this is a seriously fine Gevrey-Chambertin that should give 20+ years of drinking pleasure. Drink: 2024-2045. (Dec 2020)"
