96-98 points Neal Martin (Vinous): "The 2021 Chablis Les Clos Grand Cru has a powerful, almost dramatic bouquet with hints of peppermint and liquorice complementing the citrus fruit. Layers of Japanese yuzu and blood orange burst from the glass. The palate is well balanced with a fine bead of acidity, very saline, quite intense with blood orange, apricot, hints of grilled hazelnut and flint. Very complex and involving - I find my sample difficult to spit out (so I don't). Drink: 2025-2052. (Sep 2022)"

97 points John Gilman (View From the Cellar): "The inherent elegance of the 2021 vintage in Chablis is very much in evidence in the Raveneau family’s stunning bottling of Clos. The bouquet is deep and complex, offering up scents of lemon, pear, a touch of tart orange, a superb base of chalky soil, dried flowers, citrus zest and just a whisper of oak. On the palate the wine is deep, full-bodied, precise and rock solid at the core, with superb soil undertow, racy acids, great focus and grip and a long, complex and perfectly balanced finish. A brilliant wine in the making. 2029-2080. (Nov/Dec 2022)"

94-97 points/'Don't miss!' Allen Meadows (Burghound): "(from a .54 ha parcel). Here too there is a subtle though perceptible dollop of wood surrounding the cool and airy aromas that make it immediately clear that this could be from nowhere else than Chablis with its notes of iodine, oyster shell, quinine and the sea breeze character that is so appealing. The sleek and almost painfully intense broad-shouldered flavors exude evident minerality on the superbly long and impeccably well-balanced finale. This is, simply put, gorgeous, and a wine that should age and improve effortlessly over the next 15 or so years. Drink: 2036+. (Oct 2022)"

96 points Andy Howard, MW (Decanter): "A very rich, regal, memorable grand cru displaying a glorious combination of richness, acidity, flavours of ripe peach, a touch of honey, citrus zest and finishing with mineral, saline notes. A crystalline example of Clos, spice notes build on the aftertaste. Very fine, this will last decades. Raveneau holds 0.5ha in the Clos climat, with an average vine age of 45 years – the four plots are located at different levels, with vines of varying ages. Drinking Window: 2027-2040. (10/17/22)"

93-96 points Jasper Morris, MW (Inside Burgundy): "A pale lemon tint to the colour. The bouquet is far too backward at this stage. A concentration of sappy white fruit behind, a little touch of toast from the barrel, quite strict but there is plenty there for the longer term. Drink from 2028-2036. (Jun 2022)"

95 points Christy Canterbury, MW (TimAtkin.com): "Layers of aromas and flavors stream from the glass onto the palate: toast, almond skin, dewy flowers, yellow plums and green apples. There's a vague grippiness on the long, savory and mineral finish that nicely complements the ping of fresh acidity. This easily will reward cellaring for a decade or more. (2023)"
