100 points La Revue du Vin de France: "All in chlorophyll and noble vegetal flavors, Les Clos is very ample and deep, full of muscle and firmness of texture, endowed with a majestic build and an interminable length: an undisputed summit of Chablis. (2023)"

98 points John Gilman (View From the Cellar): "The 2020 Chablis 'Clos' from Domaine Raveneau is simply brilliant. The bouquet delivers a youthful blend of lemon, pear, apple, flinty minerality, a touch of paraffin, lemon peel and a topnote of dried flowers. On the palate the wine is full-bodied, pure and rock solid, with bottomless depth, impeccable balance, snappy acids and a very, very long, precise finish that closes with excellent lift and bounce. This will take plenty of time to come around, but it is going to be pure magic when it is truly ready to drink! 2035-2090. (Nov/Dec 2021)"

97+ points William Kelley (Wine Advocate): "Unwinding in the glass with notes of orange oil, pear, confit lemon and freshly baked bread, framed by a light touch of youthful reduction, Raveneau's 2020 Chablis Grand Cru Clos is full-bodied, layered and concentrated, with huge depth at the core and a tightly wound, muscular profile, concluding with a long, saline finish. If in many recent vintages I've had a weakness for the domaine's Valmur, in 2020 it's clearly the Clos that's the king of the cellar. Drink: 2030-2060. (Jul 2022)"

97 points Allen Meadows (Burghound): "(from a .54 ha parcel) A restrained nose immediately makes clear that it could be from nowhere else but Chablis with its array of mineral reduction, oyster shell, iodine, spice, floral and citrus aromas. There is once again excellent volume and intensity to the even more concentrated big-bodied flavors that deliver huge length on the bone-dry, austere and compact finish. This is presently a block of stone that is going to need at least some patience and a wine that should repay 15+ years of cellaring. Moreover, it is not only a candidate for wine of the vintage honors but could legitimately vie for being one of the all-time great examples of Raveneau Clos. I shudder to think at what price it will trade at but if you can afford it, don't hesitate. Drink: 2035+. (Oct 2022)"

93-97 points Jasper Morris, MW (Inside Burgundy): "Pale again yet certainly interesting. A very pronounced but clean tense reduction which seems to accentuate the stones. White fruit, flowers too, a little bit of heat on the stones but not on the fruit, this is so backward that I look forward to coming back to retaste. (Jun 2021)"

96 points Christy Canterbury, MW (TimAtkin.com): "Approaching their half-century mark, four plots of vines make this wine. This is a surprisingly forward Les Clos, showing Pink Lady apple and Comice pear along with baguette crust and a hint of honey. It's lightly toasty on the long, concentrated finish and promises many years of drinking pleasure. 2026-40. (2022)"
