92 points John Gilman (View From the Cellar): "Laurence Ployez makes beautiful Rosé and the newest release, from the base year of 2015, is no exception. The wine is its customary blend of fifty percent chardonnay, thirty-seven percent pinot noir and thirteen percent pinot meunier and was disgorged in February of 2019 and finished with a dosage of three grams per liter. It is a pale salmon color and offers up a complex and vibrant bouquet of white cherries, rhubarb, chalky soil tones, orange peel, a delicate touch of spice elements and a gently smoky topnote. On the palate the wine is crisp, full-bodied and impeccably balanced, with a fine core of fruit, excellent soil signature, refined mousse and a long, zesty and very classy finish. Like all of Laurence’s wines, this will age beautifully, but is already a very tasty glass of bubbly. 2020-2040+. (May/Jun 2020)"

92 points Wine Spectator: "[$59 list] Crunchy white peach and cherry fruit flavors are enriched by hints of grilled nut, lemon pith and fresh thyme in this firm and focused rosé Champagne, with a fine, raw silk–like mousse. Disgorged October 2018. Drink now through 2023. 1,000 cases made. (12/15/19)"

92 points Josh Raynolds (International Wine Cellar): "(roughly 60% pinot noir and pinot meunier, with 40% chardonnay): Bright orange-pink. Intense blood orange and strawberry scents show very good clarity and pick up toast and floral nuances with air. Juicy, penetrating and pure, offering vibrant red berry and citrus fruit flavors underscored by chalky minerals. Dusty and clean on the finish, which shows excellent focus and persistence. (Dec 2012)"

Producer notes: "We only produce Rosé wines in years when the quality of the black grapes is really very good. They are all produced by blending Extra Quality Brut champagne (blending the first pressings of premier grand crus with a majority of black grapes), to which a small amount of red champagne is added. Each harvest provides us with different structures and colour intensities. Adding red wine allows us to ensure the colour remains stable and precise. It allows us to create an expressive blend delicately combining the expression of red berry aromas and a rich, long finish, while maintaining its intensity. Our red wines are produced in our oak casks, revealing a very light, elegant hint of woodiness. We use very small dosages to allow all of the wine’s fruits and aromas to filter through. Tasting: Beautiful bubbles. Very fresh pink colour. Fruity, fresh bouquet. Clear finish and unnoticeable dosage."
