91+ points John Gilman (View From the Cellar): "I tasted a bottle of Ployez-Jacquemart’s “Extra Quality” Brut NV about six months ago from this same disgorgement, which was October of 2018. The wine was excellent then, but has settled in even more since I last drank a bottle and is really showing well today. The beautiful fruit tones that Laurence Ployez gets in this bottling are most impressive, as today it offers up a compelling bouquet of pear, apple, a lovely and quite complex base of soil tones, fruit blossoms, brioche and a gentle touch of nuttiness in the upper register. On the palate the wine is full-bodied, focused and complex, with a great core of fruit, fine mineral drive, refined mousse and impeccable balance on the long, zesty and focused finish. Non-vintage Brut does not get better than this! 2020-2040+. (Nov/Dec 2019)"
