94 points William Kelley (Wine Advocate): "Drawing from a perpetual reserve spanning the 2003–2018 vintages, the new NV Brut Blanc de Noirs L'Or d'Eugène was disgorged in November 2020 with 0.5 grams per liter dosage. Deep and complex, it unwinds to reveal aromas of pear, honeycomb, fresh pastry, paraffin wax and confit citrus, followed by a medium to full-bodied, broad and fleshy palate that's seamless and concentrated, girdled by lively acids and complemented by a saline finish. Drink: 2021-2030. (Jan 2022)"

93 points Falstaff: "Bright golden yellow with orange reflections. Delicate fragrance of red currant, rosehip and gooseberry underlaid with biscuit and herbal savouriness. Juicy attack on the palate, finesse, rich acid structure, salty mineral undertow, very complex, very persistent. The predominant share of Meunier once again shows the great potential of this grape variety. (9/30/22)"

92 points La Revue du Vin de France: "Meunier wines breathe this grape variety, but in elegant, civilized versions. The management of bubbles is exemplary: they are posed, never intrusive... The Eugene cuvee, drawn from a perpetual reserve, displays more vinosity and richness, but without any stylistic heaviness. (2023)"
