93+ points John Gilman (View From the Cellar): "The Domaine Lafarge 2010 Beaune “Grèves” is also brilliant in this vintage, as these ninety year-old vines have produced a stunning example of the vintage. The very red fruity and complex nose soars from the glass in a blaze of cherries, red plums, raw cocoa, wonderfully complex soil tones, woodsmoke and roses. On the palate the wine is deep, pure and more reserved out of the blocks than the Aigrots, with a deep and sappy core of fruit, beautiful transparency, suave tannins and excellent focus on the very long and classy finish. This will need a year or two more bottle age than the Aigrots and will also be an absolutely beautiful bottle of Beaune at its apogee. 2020-2050. (Nov/Dec 2011)"

92 points Allen Meadows (Burghound): "A strikingly complex and also quite deeply pitched nose features a well-layered blend of red currant and dark berries along with copious earth and mineral nuances. There is an elegant mouth feel to the cool, restrained and tension-filled medium-bodied flavors that evidence excellent finishing persistence as well as plenty of palate coating extract. This should amply reward 10 to 12 years of cellar time. Drink: 2020+. (Apr 2013)"

90-92 points Antonio Galloni (Wine Advocate): "The 2010 Beaune Les Greves wraps around the palate with layers of rich, textured fruit. Crushed rocks, mint and flowers develop in the glass, adding considerable depth, dimension and complexity to the dark fruit. Layers of flavor continue to build to the gorgeous, radiant finish. Anticipated maturity: 2014-2022. (Dec 2011)"
