94 points Joe Czerwinski (Wine Advocate): "A stunning success, the 2020 Chateauneuf du Pape delivers layers of black cherries and a hint of dark chocolate but also raspberries and peaches, leading to a complex, intriguing mix of fruit on the nose. A tank-aged blend of 80% Grenache, 10% Syrah, 7% Mourvèdre and 3% Cinsault, it's full-bodied and softly tannic, ripe yet structured, with a long, kaleidoscopic finish. Drink: 2023-2040. (9/29/23)."

93 points James Suckling: "Ripe and generous, the fleshy and spicy character from the grenache grape currently displayed very nicely. I love the interplay of the full, supple tannins with the rich and full body, the wine slowly turning ever drier as it flows back over the palate. The freshness at the long finish completes the very satisfying picture. A grenache-based blend that grew on sandy soils. Drink or hold. (4/7/22) "

91-93 points Jeb Dunnuck: "The 2020 Châteauneuf Du Pape showed nicely and is well worth purchasing. Mulled red fruits, herbes de Provence, pepper, and some subtle leather nuances all define the bouquet, and it's medium-bodied, round, and supple on the palate, with beautiful tannins. (11/11/22)"
