96 points Joe Czerwinski (Wine Advocate): "The top bottled wine here is the 2017 Chateauneuf du Pape Cotes Capelan, which is about 80% Grenache, with Mourvèdre and Syrah accounting for the balance. It starts off a bit closed, so splash it around or decant it a bit in advance of serving to see floral notes blossom, followed by mixed red and black cherries and berries. Medium to full-bodied, it's incredibly silky and long on the licorice-tinged finish. Drink: 2020-2035. (8/30/19)"
