96+ points John Gilman (View From the Cellar): "The 2010 Abtserde from Klaus-Peter Keller is starting to really drink beautifully and is a few years ahead of the G-Max in terms of evolution. The wine offers up a precise and beautiful aromatic constellation of blood orange, pink grapefruit, a complex base of chalky minerality, candied orange peel, a hint of petrol and a topnote of lemongrass. On the palate the wine is full-bodied, focused and shows off superb mid-palate depth, with superb underlying minerality and cut, zesty acids and laser-like focus on the long, complex and dancing finish. This is stunning wine. 2021-2065. (Jul/Aug 2021)"

96 points Stephan Reinhardt (Wine Advocate): "As Keller himself remarks, his 2010 Westhofener Brunnenhauschen - Abtserde Riesling Grosses Gewachs illustrates the proclivity of Riesling from this amazing site (for more about which, consult Issues 192 and 185) to combine creaminess of texture with utmost energy and levity. Almond and white peach, lime and grapefruit are wreathed in iris, mint, and thyme. As this expansively saturates the palate and as it takes on air, suggestions of cardamom and nutmeg, nut oils and rowan add rich allure. Seductively scented and textured, irresistibly juicy and mouthwateringly saline, this buoyant beauty finishes transparent to a kaleidoscopic, kinetic array of floral, herbal, spice and mineral nuances. I expect it will remain compellingly exhilarating for at least a decade. Drink: 2011-2021. (Dec 2011)"

96 points Mosel Fine Wines: "AP: 46 11. The 2010er Abts E®, as it is referred to on the consumer label, comes from the prime Abtserde sector of the Westhofener Brunnenhäuschen vineyard. It offers an absolutely fresh, pure, and complex nose of white flowers, herbs, candied grapefruit, spices, white peach, and chalky elements, with a hint of Muscat-like sweet fruits. Where the wine comes into its own is on the palate, which proves stunningly elegant and refined as well as delicately smooth and sweet. It then leaves one with a feel of cut, depth, and intensity in the finish. Superbly zesty, salty, and spicy elements make for a fully dry and almost tight feel in the after-taste. This fresh, light, and deep wine is still on the youthful side and it will develop more complexity and nuances with a few more years of bottle aging. But the delicacy and finesse are already quite appealing now. 2025-2050. (Apr 2020)"
