90 points John Gilman (View From the Cellar): "The domaine has a very strong set of villages level bottlings this year and there is not one of these that I would not be very, very happy to have in my cellar. The 2016 straight Gevrey is a fine example, offering up a deep bouquet of cassis, black cherries, espresso, dark soil tones, a touch of meatiness and a very discreet base of cedar. On the palate the wine is full-bodied, pure and nicely soil-driven in profile, with a fine core, modest, well-integrated tannins and a long, tangy and nascently complex finish. 2021-2045. (Nov/Dec 2017)"
