95 points Tyson Stelzer (The Champagne Guide): "(2013 base vintage; disgorged June 2018; 45% chardonnay, 45% pinot, 10% meunier; predominantly Aÿ, Bouzy, Ambonnay, Le Mesnil-sur-Oger, Villers-Marmery; aged 4 years on lees; 7g/L and 8g/L dosage in successive disgorgement). Grande Réserve is the key focus of Gosset... and the first priority for fruit allocation before vintage cuvées. It represents a blend of 50 villages, all vinified separately, with reserves built both from single years and from the full blend of the previous year, in what Mareigner likened to ‘a partial solera system’... This cuvée has been aged nine months longer than in the past, which he suggests is very important. The tension and energy of Grande Réserve are on full display in the great 2013 base vintage, filled with crunchy, exact red gala apple, lemon and even a hint of fennel. Power meets tension in a celebration of impressive fruit sources, showcasing their pedigree in depth and tension, blessed with all the toasted brioche and spice of long bottle age, illuminated by bright malic vitality and Gosset’s signature of prominent, gently rolling, fine chalk mineral finesse. A very fine mousse wraps around a spine of magnificent, ripe yet confident malic acidity. Chalk minerality is heightened to profound levels, lingering very long with frothing salt mineral texture. Every detail lingers with generous length and accurate line. This is a Grande Réserve of greater precision, harmony and persistence than ever before – the finest I have seen this cuvée. (2020-2021)"

93 points Decanter: "The oldest Champagne house is a favourite among wine trade insiders. This non-vintage cuvée boasts mellow red apple fruit aromas. It has beautifully subtle autolysis on the palate, with creamy apple and plum, and great precision. (Mar 2022)"

93 points Falstaff: "Subtle notes of fresh almond pastry hover above the lemony nose that signals much freshness. The palate is bright and vivacious. Despite being exquisitely slender, and possessing the house’s signature steeliness, there is much depth and resonance to be found in the subtle autolysis and the gentle stone fruit hints that play on the mid palate and the long finish. A most elegant aperitif style. (9/30/22)"

92 points Wine Spectator: "A fine, vivid backbone of acidity is well-meshed with flavors of black cherry, lemon curd and toasted brioche in this sleek Champagne. It's lightly plush and creamy in texture, with hints of smoke, candied ginger and honeycomb on the finish. Drink now through 2025. (12/15/20)"

92 points Sarah Mayo (The Wine Independent): "Gosset’s Grande Réserve Brut NV is a blend of 45% each Pinot Noir and Chardonnay, with 10% Pinot Meunier that is aged a minimum of four years on lees and finished with an eight grams per liter dosage. Fragrant and assertive, the nose displays aromas of preserved lemon, red currant, elderflower, chalk, whipped butter and honey. Medium-bodied and fused with vibrant, shimmering acidity and plush red fruit concentration, the palate is elegant and balanced throughout and has pretty, floral notes on the finish. Drink: 2023-2030. (11/8/23)"

92 points John Gilman (View From the Cellar): "The current release of Gosset 'Grande Réserve' is from the base year of 2015, with ten to twenty percent of the cuvée made up of reserve wines. This iteration has ended up with a cépages of forty-five percent each of chardonnay and pinot noir, coupled with ten percent of pinot meunier. It was disgorged in 2019 and finished with a dosage of 8.7 grams per liter. The wine delivers lovely aromatic complexity in its refined blend of apple, fresh-baked bread, chalky soil tones, caraway seed, a touch of hazelnut and a gently smoky topnote. On the palate the wine is crisp, full-bodied and beautifully focused, with a lovely core, elegant, tiny mousse, zesty acids and a long, complex and very precise and classy finish. This is excellent. 2020-2045. (Nov/Dec 2020)"

92 points James Suckling: "This is very fresh and has attractively flavorful, punchy fruit presence, in a very pure mode. Strawberries and grapefruit and some pastry and spiced-biscuit to close. Drink now. (9/2/19)"
