97 points Bettanne & Desseauve: "Twelve years in the cellar reinforce the aromas of nougat, pastry with pale fruits, yellow citrus and candied orange, candy with flowers. Vibrant, it crystallizes in a salty finish. Time has done its work remarkably well. (2022)"

94 points John Gilman (View From the Cellar): "This is a brand new cuvée from Champagne Gosset, which is from the base year of 2006. The cépages is fifty-one percent pinot noir and forty-nine percent chardonnay, with the blend augmented with eight percent of reserve wines. It was aged sur latte for twelve and a half years prior to disgorgement in December of 2019 and finished with a dosage of seven grams per liter. The bouquet is deep, complex and nicely refined with age, wafting from the glass in a classy blend of apple, white peach, fresh-baked bread, a refined base of chalky soil tones, dried flowers and a smoky topnote. On the palate the wine is pure, full-bodied and beautifully resolved today, with a deep core of fruit, excellent soil signature and grip, elegant mousse and a long, complex and perfectly balanced finish. This is drinking beautifully, but has decades and decades of life still ahead of it. Superb juice. 2020-2055+. (Nov/Dec 2020)"

94 points Anne Krebiehl, MW (Decanter): "The deep golden colour promises the richness that nose and palate duly deliver. The first sniff reveals rounded generosity reminiscent of shortbread, further swirling brings yellow apple with overtones of ripe apricot. That apple and apricot combo settles into a mid-palate mellowness, edged and enlivened by smooth bubbles that frame all this richness with their welcome freshness. Indeed, the wine works as an indulgent aperitif but comes into its own with food. Drinking Window: 2020-2025. (Jun 2020)"

93 points William Kelley (Wine Advocate): "Based on the 2006 vintage and disgorged in December 2019, the inaugural release of Gosset's new NV Brut 12 Ans de Cave a Minima wafts from the glass with a lovely bouquet of candied peel, warm biscuits, yellow orchard fruit and brioche. Medium to full-bodied, fleshy and enveloping, it's bright and incisive, with beautifully integrated acids, a delicate pinpoint mousse and a long, sapid finish. Gosset's racy style has really synergized with the ripe vintage and long sur lattes maturation to make for a very successful cuvée. Drink: 2020-2035. (Apr 2020)"

93 points Wine Spectator: "[$135 list] A rich and creamy Champagne, with golden raisin, pastry cream and spun honey flavors layered with citrus peel acidity and a subtle, toasty underpinning. Lightly mouthwatering throughout, with a tang of salinity on the lasting finish. Drink now through 2025. 200 cases imported. (12/15/20)"

93 points Allen Meadows (Burghound): "(A just-launched limited edition run of 12,000 bottles, based on the 2006 vintage, 49% chardonnay/51% pinot noir, dosage of 7/g/L. Interestingly they suggest 'the personality of the wine can be enhanced through aeration [carafe], to open up further since the maturation of a wine on lees is a reductive process.') A reserved but elegant nose evidences a touch of maturity while offering up yeasty aromas of green apple and quinine. The equally elegant middle weight flavors are supported by a refined but intense mousse, all wrapped in a sappy, complex and relatively dry finale, indeed it's drier than the stated dosage would suggest. This lovely effort could easily be enjoyed now or held for a few more years. Drink: now+. (Oct 2020)"
