92-95 points Allen Meadows (Burghound): "A restrained, indeed almost mute nose only grudgingly reveals notes of both red and dark currant, floral and plenty of sauvage character. The sleek, intense and mineral-driven big-bodied flavors possess impressive mid-palate concentration that helps to buffer the firm tannins on the wonderfully persistent and stony finish. 94 points Neal Martin (Vinous): "The 2015 Chambertin Grand Cru has to fight some reduction on the nose, which is smudged and lacks the clarity and precision of the 2015 Domaine Armand Rousseau Chambertin Grand Cru. The palate is medium-bodied with bold, slightly chewy tannin. This feels grippy and masculine, perhaps rather bucolic within the scheme of this grand cru, though I appreciate the intriguing spiciness on the finish. Tasted blind at the annual Burgfest tasting.
