97 points John Gilman (View From the Cellar): "The 2020 Côte de Bouguerots is every bit as brilliant as the les Preuses in this vintage at Domaine Fèvre. The wine is pure, full-bodied, focused and impeccably balanced, with bottomless depth at the core, gorgeous mineral undertow, racy acids and a long, precise and perfectly balanced finish. The bouquet is young, but already stunning, as it delivers scents of pear, a touch of passion fruit, delicious apple, beeswax, a beautiful base of chalky soil tones, fruit blossoms and just a touch of paraffin in the upper register. This wine has everything one could ever ask for in a great, great example of grand cru Chablis. 2031-2080. (Nov/Dec 2021)"

97 points La Revue de Vin de France: "Very complex, fresh and radiant, Cote de Bouguerots... absolutely must age. (2023)"

96 points William Kelley (Wine Advocate): "In a sense, the 2020 Chablis Grand Cru Bougros Côte Bouguerots offers a resumé of several of Fèvre's grand cru bottlings, uniting the taut musculature of Valmur and the ethereal, mineral profile of Les Preuses, with some of the perfumed sensuality of Vaudésir and fleshy texture of Bougros. The result is certainly a very compelling wine, exhibiting aromas of crisp green orchard fruit, white flowers, freshly baked bread, oyster jus and white peach, followed by a full-bodied, taut and layered palate that's seamless and complete, concluding with a pungently mineral finish. It's worth a special effort to seek out, though a decade's patience is warmly advised. Drink: 2030-2050. (Jul 2022)"

96 points Christy Canterbury, MW (TimAtkin.com): "This wine hails from two parcels situated just across the road from the Serein river, each at a 52% slope. These bits were always included in the main Bougros cuvée until Didier came along in 1998. This cuvée has magical complexity – as ever – with incredible freshness and full-throttle flavor intensity. There is plentiful orchard fruit contrasted by wet stone freshness. The dense palate feel is counter-balanced by granular texture. For every push there is a pull. 2023-40. (2022)"

93-96 points/'Don't miss!,' Allen Meadows (Burghound): "(from a 2.2 ha parcel at the bottom section of the vineyard; even so, the vineyard is so steep here that it must be worked entirely by hand as tractors would be dangerous to use). A deft application of wood lurks in the background of the aromas cool citrus, apple, mineral reduction and ocean breeze wisps. There is an almost painful intensity to the powerful but sleek and defined medium weight plus flavors that brim with minerality on the clean, very dry and hugely long finish. This is also potentially brilliant and well-worth considering. Drink: 2032+. (Oct 2021)"

93-95 points Jasper Morris MW (Inside Burgundy): "The lowest yields from the steepest slope, just 25 hl/ha. Pure precise pale green. Chiselled stony white fruit nose, in contrast to the evident sunshine seen in Valmur and Vaudésir. A thrilling stony backbone, so pure not overdone. Pretty good wealth of flavour. (Jun 2021)"
