98 points La Revue du Vin de France: "A veritable ball of solar energy, Côte de Bouguerots has remained fresh, anchored in the pebbles with a lot of dry extract. (2022)"

96 points/'Don't miss!' Allen Meadows (Burghound): "(from a 2.2 ha parcel at the bottom section of the vineyard; even so, the vineyard is so steep here that it must be worked entirely by hand as tractors would be dangerous to use). This too offers a wonderfully broad range of classic Chablis elements that include mineral reduction, iodine, ocean breeze and quinine on the citrus-infused nose. The racy, detailed and beautifully textured and focused flavors deliver outstanding length on the balanced, saliva-inducing and sneaky long finish. This is also quite classy and if not quite as complete as the Preuses at present, the track record this wine has of developing superb depth over time gives it the slight edge at this early juncture. Drink: 2029+. (Oct 2021)"

93-96 points Jasper Morris, MW (Inside Burgundy): "Brisk mid lemon colour. Steely nose, perhaps a waft of ripe lemon with it. Just 25 hl/ha produced. Very pure, intense white fruit, but with its electric backbone of steel, and exceptional intensity with its usual brilliant white fruit character. Coats the teeth and excellent length. (Jul 2020)"

95+ points William Kelley (Wine Advocate): "The 2019 Chablis Grand Cru Bougros Côte Bouguerots is brilliant, unwinding in the glass with notes of warm bread, crisp orchard fruit, beeswax and oyster shell. Full-bodied, layered and multidimensional, it's deep and concentrated, with huge reserves of chalky structure and an incisive spine of acidity. It concludes with a finish of almost disconcerting intensity. Again, this is a very tightly wound young wine, cropped at only 29 hectoliters per hectare, and it will require and reward patience. Drink: 2027-2057. (Aug 2021)"

Bill Nanson (Burgundy Report): "The third year in a row, this ‘demoted’ in favour of their Preuses – it seems fixed! Two parcels on the steep hillside next to the road and river – 2.80 ha and they have replanted 0.4 ha. What a great nose – full of agrume complexity, mineral at the base. Vibrant, a little floral this is concentrated but with the energy to balance, a simply great finish, melting concentrated deliciousness over the palate. Rich finishing but I forgive that as it’s so delicious – excellent wine! (Feb 2021)"
