95+ points John Gilman (View From the Cellar): "The Felettig family’s parcel of vines lie in the lieu à dit of les Treux, which was one of the very finest in the vineyard in the mind of Henri Jayer. The vines here are only fifteen years of age, so substantially younger than many of the premier cru parcels, but the wine has turned out brilliantly in 2013. The bouquet is deep, pure and utterly refined, wafting from the glass in a mix of red and black raspberries, cocoa, gamebirds, dark soil tones, fresh herbs, incipient notes of bonfire and a fine framing of cedar. On the palate the wine is deep, full-bodied, young and promising, with a great core of fruit, ripe tannins, lovely, tangy acids and outstanding focus on the long, minerally and nascently complex finish. A simply great bottle of Echézeaux in the making! 2025-2075. (Mar/Apr 2015)"
