92-94 points Jasper Morris, MW (Inside Burgundy): "A new grape purchase this year. 40% whole bunch vinification. Rich dense purple despite the whole bunches. Much more in red fruit with some blood orange as well, reflecting the iron oxide rich red soil, and a grainy finish. Very persistent, but quite different in character. Drink from 2030-2038. Tasted: December 2023."

91-93 points William Kelley (Wine Advocate): "Another fine addition to the range this year is the 2022 Chambolle-Musigny 1er Cru Aux Echanges, a medium to full-bodied, ample and seamless wine that bursts with aromas of raspberries, mint, wintergreen and spices. (1/18/24)"

91-93 points Neal Martin (Vinous): "The 2022 Chambolle-Musigny Aux Echanges 1er Cru is the first vintage from purchased fruit and includes 40% whole bunches. It has a well-defined nose, although it does not possess the concentration of the Les Fuées poured before it. The palate is medium-bodied and cohesive on the entry, with finely chiseled tannins and a keen line of acidity. It meliorates as it goes along, so the finish feels quite sophisticated. Overall, the effect is of an understated but well-crafted Chambolle. Drink: 2026-2042. (Jan 2024)"

90-93 points Allen Meadows (Burghound): "(from a purchase of fruit). This is aromatically fresher still if not quite as spicy with its slightly more deeply pitched nose of violet, poached plum and mostly dark raspberry scents. Once again there is a really lovely texture to the sleekly seductive middleweight flavors that aren't quite as mineral-driven on the firm, youthfully austere and well-balanced finale. This will need a few years of cellaring to really blossom as it's fairly compact today. Drink: 2032+. (Jan 2024)"
