91+ points John Gilman (View From the Cellar): "The 2020 Pouilly-Vinzelles was raised in a combination of both five hundred liter casks and stainless steel this year, with one-third of the blend barrel-fermented and raised in the larger barrels. It is an excellent wine in this vintage, with an aromatic constellation of pear, apple, a fine base of limestone soil tones, a touch of hazelnut, lemon blossoms and a deft touch of vanillin oak. On the palate the wine is deep, full-bodied and complex, with a plump core, excellent acidity and focus and very impressive backend lift on the long and seamlessly balanced finish. This is fine, fine juice. 2022-2032. (Nov/Dec 2021)"
Producer notes: "A wine for mere pleasure! Pale yellow colour with numerous bright green reflections. Intense persistant flavours of peach and white flowers harmoniously meshed together. On the palate, the wine is ample, fresh, intense, with reminiscent notes of ripe grapes, almond, fresh hazelnut and cinnamon. The mouth reveals an elegant wine endowered with a good structure."
