96 points John Gilman (View From the Cellar): "The 2020 Corton-Charlemagne from Domaine Drouhin is another stellar example of the vintage. The bouquet is very precise and expressive, delivering notes of apple, pear, flinty, chalky minerality, lemon blossoms, white lilies, citrus zest and a lovely foundation of vanillin oak. On the palate the wine is pure, racy and rock solid at the core, with a full-bodied and graceful format, beautiful mineral undertow, snappy acids and a long, complex and utterly seamless finish that shows tremendous lift and grip. Great juice. 2028-2065. (Nov/Dec 2021)"

96 points/'Highly Recommended,' Bruce Sanderson (Wine Spectator): "A rich, supple white, with great balance and expression, delivering peach, lemon, mineral and spice flavors allied to a bone-dry, chalky structure that reflects greater austerity on the finish for now. Shows superb harmony and length. Best from 2025 through 2036."

93-96 points Jasper Morris, MW (Inside Burgundy): "Pale colour with engaging minerality. Lifted but lovely, finesse and tension. Some liquorice behind, very good length, and with time will fill out the middle of the palate. Not much, alas, is made of this excellent wine from Les Languettes. (Nov 2021)"

95 points Christy Canterbury, MW (TimAtkin.com): "Part of this cuvée is domaine from Les Languettes and part is purchased from Clos Charlemagne and (again) Les Languettes. All are vinified separately. This starts with a chalky nose before diving into a delightfully concentrated mid-palate. Roasted apples, toasted grains, fresh cream and citrus lift give this complexity and flair. 2023-33. (2022)"

93-95 points William Kelley (Wine Advocate): "Aromas of pear, citrus zest, struck match, fresh bread and pastry cream introduce Drouhin's 2020 Corton-Charlemagne Grand Cru (Domaine), a full-bodied, deep and complete wine that's satiny and layered, with lively acids and a chalky finish. (Jan 2022)"

92-95 points Allen Meadows (Burghound): "(from a .33 ha parcel in Les Languettes). A lightly wooded nose features super-fresh aromas of Granny Smith apples, along with citrus confit, fennel and a hint of spicy exotic tea. There is again excellent volume and richness to the caressing but powerful and muscular larger-scaled flavors that exude a refreshing salinity on the superbly long finish. This could use better depth but that should come if allowed at least a few years of cellaring. Drink: 2028+. (Jun 2022)"

92 points Neal Martin (Vinous): "The 2020 Corton-Charlemagne Grand Cru is a little conservative on the nose and takes some time to open. Yellow fruit, just a touch of candle wax and just a hint of lime. The palate is rounded on the entry, good weight, honeyed in texture with fine acidity. Just a hint of white pepper perks up the finish here. Drink: 2024-2040. (May 2022)"

Bill Nanson (Burgundy Report): "(From Les Languettes – older vines. One of the first Drouhin vineyards to be converted to biodynamics in the mid-1990s. Separately there is also a Maison Corton-Charlemagne.) That’s a great nose – not large – yet open, detailed and attractive. Extra density – almost a little chalky minerlaity. Growing as the flavour starts its mouth-watering cascade towards the finish. That’s a really great wine in waiting – bravo – really bravo! (1/17/22)"
