96 points John Gilman (View From the Cellar): "For many years Maison Drouhin’s Corton-Charlemagne was a blend of fruit that they purchased and production from their own parcel on the hill. A few vintages back that started segregating out and bottling on its own their own parcel here and the quality of the wine is a step up from the former blended bottling. The 2021 Drouhin Corton-Charlemagne is a stunning young wine, offering up scents of lemon, apple, pear, a complex base of limestone minerality, spring flowers and a lovely framing of vanillin oak. On the palate the wine is deep, full-bodied, long and racy, with a rock solid core of fruit, great mineral drive and focus, a superb girdle of acidity and a long, seamlessly balanced and very complex finish. After the last few years, where it was necessary to try and rein in ripeness in the vineyards of Burgundy, it is so refreshing to fall back to an classic, old school vintage, with perfect ripeness of fruit that allows the stunning mosaic of Burgundy’s minerality to be front and center in so many truly great wines! 2027-2065. (Nov/Dec 2022)"

95 points Christy Canterbury, MW (TimAtkin.com): "Starting with a nose of refined spices, citrus peel, yellow currant and toast, this is aromatically tantalizing. The surprisingly expansive palate (given the vintage) is reined in by a touch of chalky tannins and sassy acidity. This is from Les Languettes on the Aloxe side. (2023)"

92-94 points Jasper Morris, MW (Inside Burgundy): "From the Drouhin holding in Languettes. Mid lemon and lime colour. The nose shows a very light reduction. Racy and certainly mineral on the palate, quite fine boned with a slightly softer flesh, medium plus length. A sound Corton- Charlemagne for the medium term. Drink from 2026-2032. (Nov 2022)"

92-94 points/'Sweet spot,' Allen Meadows (Burghound): "(from a .33 ha parcel in Les Languettes). There is just enough wood setting off the cool and attractively layered nose of violet, green apple, spice and mineral reduction to warrant pointing out. There is excellent concentration to the quite powerful larger-scaled flavors that conclude in a linear, citrusy and chiseled finish that flashes superb length. This is extremely promising though here again, patience strongly recommended. Drink: 2031+. (Jun 2023)"

93 points Charles Curtis, MW (Decanter): "The domaine bottling of Corton-Charlemagne from Drouhin comes from a 0.34-hectare parcel in the lieu-dit Les Languettes in Aloxe-Corton. The organic grapes are gently pressed as whole clusters before fermentation in cask (25% new). The aromas are restrained but utterly elegant, with a ripe pear fruit character and hazelnut, cream, and spice notes. The texture has surprising density, but there is enough acidity to balance everything nicely. This wine should open in a few years and has the substance to age well. Drinking Window: 2025-2050. (Nov 2022)"

Bill Nanson (Burgundy Report): "(From Les Languettes – older vines. One of the first Drouhin vineyards to be converted to biodynamics in the mid-1990s. Separately there is also a Maison Corton-Charlemagne). Broad – a nose with some density and a little more barrel but also a more beautiful floral perfume – that’s so good! Again a certain strict style – a structure – a chiselled style – but this is great: Intense, melting, mineral – so wide yet still so persistent – a great wine! (1/3/23)"
