94 points Christy Canterbury, MW (TimAtkin.com): "This is a lively Les Grèves, which can be firm and compact in its youth. Tangy cranberries and red currents mesh with strawberries and red plums before a kick of minerality takes the wine into a solid finish. The nicely judged, one-third whole bunch lifts the bouquet without adding any sticky tannic edge. These vines are in the heart of Grèves, just south of Bouchard's Vigne de l'Enfant Jésus. 2022-35. (2022)"
91-93 points/'Outstanding,' Allen Meadows (Burghound): "(from a 1.26 ha holding; 33% whole clusters). Moderate reduction blocks an evaluation of the fruit though the whole cluster influence is perceptible. More interesting are the impressively intense flavors that possess both good minerality and cut on the lengthy and balanced finale that displays focused power. Excellent. Drink: 2032+. (Jun 2022)"
91-93 points Neal Martin (Vinous): "The 2020 Beaune Grèves 1er Cru is also one-third whole-cluster (based on fitting it on the cuve so it was more than intended). Dark berry fruit, a touch of black olive and hints of presses iris petal unfold on the nose. The palate is medium-bodied with firm tannins, granular in texture with a fresh, slightly chalky finish. Very fine. Closure: Diam. Drink: 2023-2040. (Dec 2021)"
90-93 points Jasper Morris MW (Inside Burgundy): "Concentrated mid purple, one third whole cluster. Generous fruit, on the riper side in aromatics though still only 13% by analysis. Good tension behind, plums and slightly cooked raspberry. Interesting, and there is some potential, especially if the fresher aspects of the wine take the upper hand. (Oct 2021)"
