99 points/'Le Coup de Coeur,' La Revue du Vin de France: "With its hint of iodine, Les Preuses plunges us into the mineral world of its vineyard on a small plot of land. Pure and refined, like a straight line, it's all saline tension. A masterpiece. (2024)"

98 points Bettane & Desseauve Guide (2024).

96+ points John Gilman (View From the Cellar): "I always think of Vincent Dauvissat’s la Forest as his baby les Clos, as with ten years or more of bottle age, the two often resemble each other a bit aromatically and flavor-wise. The 2021 version of la Forest chez Dauvissat is going to be stellar. The bouquet wafts from the glass in a complex mix of pear, fresh lime, flinty minerality, citrus blossoms, discreet vanillin oak and a topnote of beeswax. On the palate the wine is deep, pure and full, with a superb core of fruit, excellent complexity and cut, fine focus, bright acids and a long, complex and impeccably balanced finish. This is superb. 2026-2060. (Nov/Dec 2022)"

96 points Andy Howard, MW (Decanter): "WINE OF THE VINTAGE & TOP QUALITY PRODUCER Understated in comparison to its much more dynamic, weighty Les Clos, Dauvissat's Preuses is a very fine white wine and a great grand cru Chablis in this vintage. So much finesse here, almost delicate on the palate. Crystalline citrus fruit, a seemingly never-ending mineral edge to finish. Although all of the wine is aged in barrels, there is no trace of oak flavour, just the additional complexity that the wood seems to bring to the texture of the wine. Outstanding. Drinking Window: 2026-2040. (Oct 2022)"

93-96 points Jasper Morris, MW (Inside Burgundy): "Mid yellow, more tension, a bit of muscle, backward, then a wealth of flesh, white fruit with some bacon notes. Multi-layered, a little more forward than some years, but the whole wine is there to see. When pressed, Vincent declines to specify a favourite vineyard, but nonetheless…. Drink from 2028-2036. (Jun 2022)"

95 points William Kelley (Wine Advocate): "The 2021 Chablis Grand Cru Les Preuses is bright and aromatic, bursting with notes of white flowers, crisp orchard fruit, nutmeg, iodine, clear honey and oyster shell. Medium to full-bodied, racy and incisive, with a charming core of expressive fruit and a long, perfumed finish, this is already quite open out of the gates for a young Dauvissat Preuses in a cooler vintage. Drink: 2025-2045. (9/7/23)"

95 points Allen Meadows (Burghound): "(from a 1 ha parcel planted in 1970 though as noted in the introduction, the surface area will decrease to .70 ha effective with the 2021 vintage). An elegant, pure and airy nose is comprised by notes of zest, ocean breeze, quinine and white flowers. There is terrific underlying tension to the bigger-bodied yet even more refined flavors that brim with sappy dry extract on the highly complex and persistent bone-dry yet not really especially austere finale. This is built to reward extended keeping and I would recommend not touching a bottle for at least a decade. Terrific. Drink: 2033+. (aug 2023)"

95 points Christy Canterbury, MW (TimAtkin.com): "This wine sends chills up my spine. Its whirlwind of aromas is immediately captivating. Lime blossom, aged cheese, candle wax and oyster shell start off the array. The acidity is slightly pungent now, but that will ease up in time. And who is opening this before at least 15 years? The finish lingers with chalky flavors – paradoxically, even though the parcel isn't particularly calcareous – and a delightfully dry texture. (2023)"
