The 2020 Etna Rosso Munjebel Contrada Feudo di Mezzo Sottana FM is a classic expression of Nerello Mascalese with floral notes, crunchy fruit and streamlined texture. It sees about one month of skin contact during fermentation in small batches with punch-downs. It's easy to let the grape's tannins dominate the wine if one is not careful. Munjebel FM is a Sicilian expression of the grape Nerello Mascalese, cultivated in the small area of Sottana on the north side of Etna. It is characterized by fruity, spicy and mineral notes. It's an elegant and complex wine with long persistence.
