89-92 points Jasper Morris MW (Inside Burgundy): "Mid lemon, a slight marmalade note to the nose without meaning to indicate something too heavy. Confit de citron perhaps, quite intense, less naturally balanced perhaps than the Grands Charrons but I can see this with the right food. It will stand up to sauces for sure. (Oct 2023)" Bill Nanson (Burgundy Report): "...There’s a plot in Meursault Perrières that was a quarry hole and later refilled. They had the right to plant but INAO said only with a Bourgogne label. The plot sits directly behind the wall of the Clos des Perrières. It was planted in 1977, delivering about 3,000 bottles... it goes without saying that you probably can’t buy a better bourgogne."
This Bourgogne is called "Terroir d'Exception" because its vineyard is situated in the heart of the Meursault Perrières appellation. This parcel produces a wine full of minerality and finesse, similar to Meursault 1er cru Perrières--and at less than half the price!
