94 points James Suckling: "Tight and tannic with linear sensibility. Rich yet compact structure. Dark fruit with ripe strawberries and dark chocolate that carry on for minutes on the finish. Drink after 2022. (12/20/20)"

92-93 points Fine Wine Review: "Pure, focused red raspberry and dark fruits, elegant, precise, smooth texture, elegant. Fine tannins, silky texture. The last several vintages here have moved up a clear notch. Domaine wine. (4/1/20)"

91 points Tim Atkin, MW.

90 points/'Outstanding,' Allen Meadows (Burghound): "(a 3.37 ha monopole of Bouchard that required 7 generations for the family to acquire all of it). This plays right on the edge of perceptible volatile acidity on the red and black raspberry aromas that display a floral nuance of violet. The impressively rich, intense and beautifully delineated medium weight flavors possess a refreshing salinity on the firm, intense and built-to-age finale where a touch of bitter cherry pit character appears. The nose isn't quite technically perfect but overall, this should age well. Drink: 2030+. (Oct 2020)"
