94 points Tim Atkin, MW: "(13.5%). Emma is now an Uco Valley wine, made with equal amounts of fruit from Paraje Altamira and San Pablo. Showing what Bonarda can achieve in the best terroirs, it’s a sappy, concrete-aged red with lots of colour, structure and intensity, bramble and red cherry fruit, subtle stony reduction and a fresh, chalky finish. 2023-30. (2020)"

93 points Luis Gutiérrez (Wine Advocate): "The 2019 Emma Zuccardi Bonarda was produced with grapes from the zones where they believe the variety behaves better, which, in the past, was relegated to warmer places, in this case in the Valle de Uco, more specifically San Pablo and Altamira in approximately the same proportion. This fermented and matured in concrete and was bottled unoaked, like many wines at Zuccardi, to preserve the varietal purity. It's juicy and has citrus freshness, something 2019 might have in common with 2018, with very good finesse. 12,700 bottles produced. It was bottled in August 2020. Drink: 2021-2025. (Mar 2021)"

93 points Joaquín Hidalgo (Vinous): "The 2019 Bonarda Emma Zuccardi is made with Bonarda grapes from Paraje Altamira and San Pablo, Uco Valley and was aged in concrete. A dark, vivid purple. The nose features pure aromas of fresh raspberry and blackberry with floral notes in which violet is prominent and a ripe, candied backdrop that lends nuance. Compact in the mouth with a juicy, chalky flow, the key lies in a balance where the freshness brings energy without getting too sharp. This is a Bonarda with a lovely palate, continuing in the same style originally seen in 2018. Drink: 2021-2034. (Oct 2020)"
