92 points Josh Raynolds (Vinous): "Bright ruby. Fragrant red berry, cherry pit and lavender aromas are sharpened by smoky mineral and cracked pepper notes. Sappy and pliant in texture, offering ripe, spice-tinged raspberry, bitter cherry and spicecake flavors that show very good depth as well as vivacity. Finishes smoky and precise, displaying gentle tannic grip and building florality. Drink: 2024-2032. (Oct 2021)"
90+ points Jeb Dunnuck: "A big, peppery, meaty nose of garrigue and red and black fruits emerges from the 2019 Châteauneuf Du Pape, a blend of 80% Grenache, 10% Mourvèdre, and the rest a mix of permitted varieties. Aged mostly in concrete, it hits the palate with medium to full-bodied richness, some firm, chewy tannins, good mid-palate depth, and plenty of length on the finish. It will hopefully gain more elegance with 2-4 years of bottle age and should keep for over a decade. Drink: 2023-2034. (11/3/21)
