97 points Monica Larner (Wine Advocate): "In a sense, this wine is like the Bosco dei Sugheri but with the addition of one more grape variety in the blend. The Tua Rita 2019 Giusto di Notri is 80% Cabernet Sauvignon, 12% Cabernet Franc and 8% Merlot. I tasted the wine shortly after it had been bottled. With 40,000 bottles made, it should start hitting the market now. The Giusto di Notri offers lots of dark primary fruit with important structure and texture in this classic vintage. Blackberry and black plum cede to spice, tar and campfire ash. There's nothing not to like in this vintage that far exceeded initial expectations. I look forward to tasting more Tuscan reds from the excellent 2019 growing season. Drink: 2023-2043. (Oct 2021)"

97 points James Suckling: "Sweet berries and spice with dried-chili and walnut undertones. Currants, too. Full-bodied with chewy tannins that are polished and savory. Very sophisticated and structured. Savory. Cabernet sauvignon, merlot and cabernet franc. Give this time to soften. A beauty this vintage. Try after 2024. (10/5/21)"

96 points Filippo Magnani (Decanter): "Giusto dei Notri represents the original spirit of the winery - it was the estate's first wine and helped to position Tua Rita among the premium wine producers of Italy. The vineyards of the 'Giusto' are characterised by a pebbly soil rich in red clay and limestone. A blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Cabernet Franc, it's refined for 18 months in French oak barrels. The nose shows beautiful aromas of plum and blackcurrant, with notes of rhubarb and liquorice. Dry and fresh, the palate is elegant with silky tannins, long persistence and overtones of black cherry. Outstanding. Drinking Window: 2024-2044. (3/5/22)"

94 points Falstaff: "Radiant ruby violet hue. Paler at the rim. Opens up with intense notes of tobacco, then wild raspberry and cassis. Sprawls richly on the palate enhanced by dark fruit nuances, substance, firm tannins with lots of grip and marked by tension on the finish, vivid fruit. (8/27/21)"
