Produced mainly from Cinsault, with a bit of Grenache and Syrah, the 2020 Triennes Rosé exhibits a cornucopia of aromas: from red berries to Cavaillon melon, crushed flowers to wild herbs that continue on the palate with a finish suggestive of white peach and strawberry. This is pure elegance and thirst-quenching enjoyment, all at an incredibly low price.
Not yet reviewed; 2019 vintage rated 90 points by Josh Raynolds (Vinous): "Translucent onion skin. Orange zest, persimmon, red berries and a subtle floral nuance on the fragrant nose. Concentrated but lithe and seemingly weightless, offering tangy red currant, strawberry and blood orange flavors that pick up a spicy nuance on the back half. Finishes brisk and tight, with repeating spiciness and a sneaky floral quality. This wine has the depth of flavor to handle full-flavored foods, but there's no excess fat here, either. A solid value. Drink: 2020-2022."
