96 points Ian D'Agata (Terroir Sense): "Translucent red. Perfumed, deep aromas of ripe raspberry, cherry brandy, incence, rosemary, licorice and candied violet give way to similar flavours. Multilayered, complex and very precise, this beauty boasts precise delineation on the long creamy, sexy finish. Nicola Oberto has been making fantastic wines for many years now and is finally getting the recognition he deserves. His 2019 wines are some of the best he’s made yet (moving over to larger oak casks for aging has undoubtedly helped) but as good as they are, the 2019s are not his best wines ever. It’s just that years ago when he was making just as good wines he hadn’t yet been discovered by the American wine press. So if you can find them, don’t hesitate to buy Trediberri’s older vintages (gif you can, give preference to the cooler vintages). Anyhow, this 2019 Rocche dell’Annunziata Barolo, from what is easily one of Barolo’s five-eight greatest crus, extremely old vines (70 years plus) and one of the brightest, most talented young winemakers in Barolo today, is just a splendid wine. Drinking window: 2025-2044. (12/8/23)"

95 points Antonio Galloni (Vinous): "The 2019 Barolo Rocche dell'Annunziata is the best wine I have tasted yet from Nicola and Stefania Oberto. The biggest change here in recent years is the elimination of small oak in favor of casks, a move that really allows the full character of Rocche dell'Annunziata to come through. Dark cherry, kirsch, hard candy, rose petal and mint are all amplified in this gorgeous, translucent Barolo. A range of perfumed, floral accents lifts the intensely aromatic finish. Drink: 2027-2044. (Jan 2023)"

95 points Audrey Frick (JebDunnuck.com): "Spicy and elegant, the 2019 Barolo Rocche Dell'Annunziata is laced with notes of incense, fresh earth, and ripe cherry. Linear and driving, it has a gripping structure, with lasting Asian spices, wild berries, and tea leaf. It is an outstanding wine to hold another couple of years and drink 2025-2045. (5/4/23)"
