Whiffs of violet, wild strawberry and savoury liquorice overlay balsamic depth and an elegant mix of lemon leaf and tar. The palate is not big - we are in Alto Piemonte, after all - yet it's dense, velvety and with tannins of refined and elegant quality. The power of extraction is perfectly managed, with the graceful fruit allied to refreshing long acidity. A great wine. Drinking window 2023-2045 (Mar 2022)"
