92 points and 'Editors' Choice,' Wine Enthusiast: "[$28 list] This wine offers oodles of plush, plump plum and cherry accented by flowers, peppery spice, soy and iron. The palate delivers what the nose suggests. It's broad shouldered but neatly cupped by fine, chalky tannins. There's a lucidity here thanks to minimal oak. Tangy fruit and a saline note carry the finish. It's a charming example of modern Barossa Shiraz. Alcohol 14.5%. (Mar 2021)"

91 points James Suckling: "Plenty of rich dark berries and some currant-like notes, too. There’s a glossy feel with some fragrant elements (a little co-fermented roussanne and viognier). Attractive dark-plum and berry palate. Really vinous with a fresh finish. Drink now. Screw cap. (9/11/20)"

90 points James Halliday (Wine Companion): "Lots of oak flavours flying around the room, but dark-browed fruit is doing its best to break up the chocolate. It's complex, and the fruit deals ever better with the oak as the wine is retasted. (Aug 2020)"
