99 points Luca Gardini: "Pinot Blanc, with the contribution of Chardonnay and Sauvignon. Left ten years on the yeasts. The initial olfactory profile is very typical with aromas of exotic fruit, above all pineapple, a closing of fresh thyme, then, the mouthfeel shows an astonishing minerality held by an equally powerful acidity. Long lasting persistence. (Nov 2020)"

97 points Falstaff: "Brilliant straw yellow with hints of green. Opens with subtle smoky notes of cool stone, then tree-fresh apple, some apricot, and pineapple. The palate starts grandiosely with lots of crisp Mirabelle plum and some banana. It is very profound, savoury, and, with a long finish, a long-distance runner. (11/19/20)"

96 points Monica Larner (Wine Advocate): "[$300 list] The top-shelf Cantina Terlano 2017 Alto Adige Terlaner Grand Cuvée Primo is mostly Pinot Bianco (70%) with smaller parts Chardonnay (27%) and Sauvignon Blanc (3%). Although the Chardonnay only clocks in at about one-third of the blend, this grape ultimately makes the biggest impact, both in terms of bouquet and mouthfeel. For a white blend, there is a good amount of oak tannin and even a touch of phenolic bitterness that softly disappears with time in the glass. The bouquet is strongly driven by chalky minerals at the front, with orchard fruit, pressed flowers, lilac and savory mountain herbs. This wine shows that Cantina Terlano magic, with a precious few 2,741 bottles made. Drink: 2020-2045. (Sep 2020)"

96 points James Suckling: "Cooked-apple, clove, light toffee and smoked-wood aromas follow through to a full body with layers of fruit and nice phenolics that give it a creamy, almost chewy structure. Flavorful and intense. Smoky at the end with licorice and fennel-seed undertones. Drink now. (8/10/20)"

Producer notes: "70% Pinot Bianco, 27% Chardonnay, 3% Sauvignon Blanc. Color: brilliant straw yellow. Smell: rich and complex on the nose; multifaceted aromas of citrus fruit, white pepper and herbs as well as a delicate smoky note. Taste: The wine’s elegance and perfect balance are the product of its remarkable structure and subtle texture, which give the wine its unmistakable character. Its extremely long finish is more than pleasant; it leaves its mark in memory as the supreme expression of a mineral terroir that is unique in the world. Alcohol 14.5%."
