It's a very fine, elegant example of Bandol rosé, with notes of passion fruit and pink grapefruit leading the way in a tightly knit, medium-bodied package that adds promising hints of white peach and anise on the lingering finish. Usually, it takes a couple of years for the wine to begin to open up, but this one features intense, well-defined wild strawberry fruit, very good acidic support, and plenty of nervosity in a medium-light body.
