99 points James Suckling: "A beautiful color of bronze and orange with some pink at the end. Aromas of dried strawberry and orange peel with orange blossom and other flowers. Medium to full body with a round, creamy texture, very fine bubbles and a lovely, long finish. Plenty of subtle pie-crust and biscuit flavors at the end. Yet it remains so complex. Very vinous. Red wild berry jam underpinned with fresh sponge, ripe plums, a touch of ringlet, tangerine zest, a hint of roasted coffee, multi-faceted bouquet. Substantial, pickled cherries, taut texture, racy acid structure, mineral-salty and well adherent, has complexity and length, extract-sweet on the finish, secure development potential. (10/11/22)"

95-96 points Essi Avellan, MW: "Taittinger used to release Comtes rosé before the blanc de blancs, but this is now changing, with the 2009 rosé entering the market alongside the 2012 white. This is of great benefit to the rosé, which greatly benefits from ageing, amplifying its rich, wild Pinot characters. This copper-toned rosé is of a fruity style, supple and fragrant already upon launch. Dark cherry fruit with exotic spices, toffee, orange peel and sous-bois. Structured palate of firm but ripe tannin; sumptuously fruity with exemplary freshness. Gourmand and winey. On this year of great Pinot Noir, no white Comtes de Champagne was made. (Aug 2022)"
