Ripe black cherries, darker currants, spring flowers, violets, and hints of crushed stone define the aromatics, and this beauty is full-bodied, has a round, layered, seamless mouthfeel, plenty of background oak, and a sensational finish. A field blend of mostly Tempranillo with the remaining 35% made up of 20% Garnacha and lesser amounts of Graciano, Petit Bouschet, Calagraño, Turruntés and Viura, this has wonderful perfume and freshness, redcurrant, pink grapefruit and red cherry flavours, very subtle wood spices and enough tannin and backbone to age convincingly in bottle. 2028-2040.
