95 points Luis Gutiérrez (Wine Advocate): "[$45 list] I love the 2021 El Puño Garnacha, which was produced in a similar way as the 2020, only with a slightly higher percentage of wine in barrel (50% versus 40%), but the oak goes unnoticeable. It has notes of blood orange and a citric touch of freshness that makes it very showy, aromatic and attractive. It has 14.5%, a pH of 3.5 and 5.1 grams of acidity, still parameters that denote good freshness, acidity and balance. This is a serious, complex, elegant and austere Garnacha. 4,900 bottles were filled in April 2023. Drink: 2023-2030. (5/31/23)"
94 points Tim Atkin, MW: "This old vine Garnacha comes from Norrel Robertson’s higher altitude plots on rocky ground which bring an obvious lift to the wine. An intense wine with a slightly wild character, it is kept in check by fresh acidity with a metallic, stony core. It’s a big and bold wine with fleshy red cherry and raspberry fruit but with silky tannins and a long, peppery finish. (2024)"
